1. grow our own plants
2. have a pet
3. have a baby
While M. took it seriously and started growing baby aubergines and baby tomatoes on the balcony, I completely forgot about plants. In my view the fact that I have managed to keep my dog alive and happy for a reasonably long period of time meant that I was past the plant stage. Well, I was wrong!
I got a Chinese rose as a present the other day and the poor wee plant is still not well. I am always afraid that I am going to drown it. So much so that I end up not giving her enough water and make her look miserable. Empirical evidence would suggest that one full glass of water does the trick, but I am still scared that things might go wrong, so I keep talking to her telling her how beautiful she is and how nice it would be if she had another flower. I have to say she's a very good listener, so hopefully she'll make it.

Don't worry, my parents still can't keep plants alive to this day, and don't have any pets! :) T.
RispondiEliminaBut they have an amazing daughter so I really shouldn't worry!
EliminaMy flatmate has been trying to keep a lavender plant alive all winter and spring. I've been convinced of its death several times, but there are a few fighters in that orange plantpot of his!
RispondiEliminaBy the way, I've decided to start my own blog too :)
